Where Would I Be If There Were No Limits?

Do you ever feel as if you’ve lost your direction in life, either you have to go to work, pick up the kids, drop off the kids or make dinner, clean the house or wash the dishes or laundry?

The modern culture celebrates the bold, the brave, and the beautiful. Our televisions are shallow, only extraordinary, and our social media feeds are filled with people “living their best life.”

I really believe it is a one-sided view of the world… Things social media or our family and friends don’t tell us.

  • It’s ok to feel a little lost.
  • It’s ok to change your mind
  • It’s ok to have a low self-esteem
  • It’s ok to question how I got into this current situation in the first place?

It can be a lot easier to rule out what you don’t want out of life. If you’re struggling to figure out what you do want. There’s no point in running down a path if you aren’t interested in the destination.

What if you put a ✋ STOP to all those thoughts and ask yourself? “Where would I be if there were no limits?”

Think about what your dream life looks like… what would you be doing if nothing were holding you back? Just thinking about it brings such relief and joy.

But seriously, take a few minutes and really think about it and truly envision your dream life. Including the tiniest details!

  • What neighborhood would you live in?
  • What do you do each day?
  • How is your home decorated?
  • What kind of clothes would you wear?
  • Makeup? & Hairstyle?
  • What are your habits?
  • What hobbies?
  • Where would you travel to next?

Truly imagine tiny details to the best of your ability. Go as far as going to a Pinterest board or Magazines or Instagram collection for inspiration.

Or are you one of those people that have a perpetually negative mindset?

Did you know when your mind is constantly thinking negative thoughts, you attract toxic people into your life? And if you already have these toxic people in your life, they do not let you go forward. They enable you on their web and your energy begins to suck you dry.

You don’t need to do the “positive vibes” or ignore your emotions when something is wrong.

But you sure can make a conscious effort to counter any negative annoying thoughts that actually don’t suit you.

Or maybe you have settled. Instead of going after what you truly want. You leave it for someday, for right now I can’t. I am way to even consider it a thought.

A lot of us settle out of fear or we are afraid of failure or think it looks silly to other people. Or that people are going to pass judgment.

If you don’t believe you can do it, you probably won’t do it. It’s easy to believe in yourself even if you have to fake it. But why fake it?

I know it’s hard, but you don’t have to be lost forever! Life is always moving forward and before you know it, so many years went by and you did nothing for this one and only life you have.

What do I really want out of life and what tablets or dreams do I have is a tough question. You are not alone,
